Gaviota Tequila was created by Francisco and Vanessa Orozco, a father/daughter team with the idea in mind that they just didn't want to be another tequila bottle on the shelf. They wanted to be unique, yet different, something that no one else had came up with before. A tequila product that has the whole package and message; a beautiful bottle along with a high quality tequila product that was distilled with love to smooth perfection.
Our Town Gaviota Tequila is produced in a town named San Ignacio Cerro Gordo, Jalisco MX, which is located in the highlands of Jalisco. Francisco and Vanessa choose to produce Gaviota in this town as this is the hometown which saw Francisco owner and president grow up. Upon settling on producing Gaviota Tequila for market, Francisco and Vanessa wanted to make sure that they gave back to their people and the town and what better way than to do business with their hometown distiller close family friends. Francisco and Vanessa have also created a non profit organization in order to give back to this community, filled with many humble people. At Gaviota Tequila they are not only in the business of making money but in the business of giving back to those who need it the most.
